Standards for sign variances. Section 1~-~?0 states that the <br />crucial points of a sign variance are: <br />1. Practical difficulties; <br />?. Unnecessary hardship, or; <br />3. If results inconsistent ~•~ith the general purposes of <br />this chapter would other~~ise occur <br />Before a variance can be granted, special circumstances involving <br />size, shape, topog-ranhy, location or surroundings must attach <br />to the property referre~~ to in the application which do not <br />apply generally to other properties in the same district. <br />Any variance granted shall be su!~ject to such conditions as <br />-will assure that the adjustment thereby authorizes' shall <br />not constitute a grant of special privilege inconsistent <br />with the limitations upon other properties in the vicinity <br />and zone in vahich such property is situated. <br />APPLICANT'S ~TP.TEMENT OF RE?~SON FOR VaRIANCE: <br />This variance is requested because <br />13 .
