RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT-AND DENYING VARIANCE <br />APPLICATION VN-190. <br />3. That the City Council, pursuant to published. <br />and mailed notice, held a public hearing on <br />August 8,, 1978, to consider the application. <br />All person's present at the public hearing <br />were given an opportunity to be heard. <br />4. The written. comments and analysis of the City <br />Planner, the Planning Commission .minutes and. <br />recommendation, statements .made at the public <br />hearing were considered. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of New Bria~hton that the following Findings of Fact are <br />made in respect to VN-190: <br />WHEREAS, an application for a variance VN-190 has <br />been made by Mr. Gene Holen to permit the subdivision of <br />property creating two .lots that are .less than 75 ft. in <br />width and less and 10,000 sq. ft. in area, and <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application <br />is as follows: <br />1. That an application-for a variance VN-190 was <br />filed with the City on July 12, .1978. <br />2. That the Board of Review heard and reviewed the <br />application at its meeting of July 31, 1978. <br />1. The property is zoned R-1, Single Family Residential, <br />a zoning district that requires a minimum lot width <br />of 75 ft. and a minimum area of 10, 000 sq. ft. <br />2. The variance requested seeks both reduced lot width <br />and lot area. <br />3. That the application presents no unique circumstances <br />or undue hardship .applying to the property. <br />4. .That standard or larger lots are common throughout <br />the general neighborhood. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the application for VN-190- <br />is and hereby denied. <br />Adopted this day of 1978. <br />James Senden, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Gary L.
