I ` <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />NEW BRIGHTON PLANNING COMMISSION <br />BOARD OF REVIEW <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL <br />OF VARIANCE APPLICATION VN-200. <br />} WHEREAS, an application for a Variance VN-200 has been <br />made by Berger Transfer and Storage, Inc. to permit an off- <br />street parking lot in a side street yard. <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is <br />as follows: <br />1. That an application for a variance VN-200 was filed <br />with the City on December 13, 1978. <br />2. That the Board of Review heard and reviewed the <br />application at its meeting on December 19, 1978. <br />3. The written comments and analysis of the City Planner <br />and all person's statements made at the Board of <br />Review meeting were considered, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Review.that <br />the following Findings of Fact are made in respect to VN-200. <br />1. That the property is an island surrounded by public <br />streets creates a unique circumstance.. <br />2. That off-street parking is required and that off- <br />street parking in a side street yard is prohibited <br />results in a hardship for the applicant. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Review hereby <br />recommends that VN-200 be approved subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1: That additional landscaping be used for screening <br />along 3rd Street S.W. and on the northeast corner <br />of the site. <br />2. That the drainage be approved by the City Engineer. <br />3. That the traffic patterns are approved by staff and <br />the driveway off of Old Highway #8 be used for an <br />entrance only. <br />4. That the placement of the sprinklers connections <br />are approved by the fire department. <br />Adopted this 19 day of December 1978. <br />ATTEST: <br />an M.
