<br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF `FACT AND APPRO VING APPLICATION <br /> FOR VARIANCE APPLICATION VN-201 <br /> WHEREAS, an application for a Variance VN-201 has been <br /> made by Lowy Enterprises, Inc. to permit an eight (8) foot <br /> high chain link fence in the front yard of a site in an <br /> industrial district. <br /> WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is <br />E! as follows: <br /> 1. That an application for a Variance VN-201 was filed <br /> with the City of New Brighton on February 5, 1979. <br /> 2. That such application was reviewed by the New <br /> Brighton Planning Commission Board of Review on <br /> February 20, 1979. <br /> 3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and <br /> mailed notices, held a public hearing on <br /> March 27, 1979, all person's present at the <br /> hearing were given an opportunity to be'heard. <br /> -4. The written comments and analysis of the City staff, <br /> the Planning Commission minutes and recommendations <br /> were considered. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the New Brighton City <br /> Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect to <br /> VN-201. <br /> 1. That the property is located in an I-1, Light <br /> Industrial District, <br /> 2. That an 8' high fence is required for security purpose: <br /> 3. That the 8' high fence does not result in traffic <br /> visibility problems. <br /> 4. That the fence would not have a negative impact on <br /> <br />?i adjacent properties. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the application VN-201 is <br /> hereby approved. <br /> Adopted this day of 1979 <br /> . <br />ATTEST: <br />James W.
