C <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />NEW BRIGHTON PLANNING COMMISSION <br />BOARD OF REVIEW <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL <br />OF VARIANCE APPLICATION VN-203 <br />WHEREAS, an application for a Variance VN-203 has-been <br />made by Hobar Publications to permit an initial reduction <br />-in the construction of.the required number of parking spaces., <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application <br />is as follows: <br />1. That the application for a Variance VN-203 was <br />filed with the City on March 13, 1979. <br />2. That the Board of Review heard and reviewed the <br />application at its regular meeting on March 20, <br />1979. <br />3. The written comments and analysis of the City Planne3 <br />and all person's statements made at the Board of <br />Review meeting were considered. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Review <br />that.the following Findings of Fact are made in respect to <br />VN-203. <br />1. The applicant because of the type of business and <br />number of employees will not make use of the <br />required 35 parking spaces. <br />2. The applicant could at anytime construct the <br />required parking spaces at the site. <br />3. The result of the construction of less than the <br />required parking spaces will be additional <br />landscaped areas. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that VN-.203 be approved subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />1. That the City Council can require the applicant to <br />provide the thirty-five (35) parking spaces at <br />such a time as the City Council feels the additional <br />parking is needed. <br />2. That the applicant provide curbing or bumper stops <br />around the parking area to protect landscaped <br />areas.
