I RESOLUTION NO. NEW BRIGHTON PLANNING COMMISSION BOARD OF REVIEW RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF VARIANCE APPLICATION VN-2'03. WHEREAS, an application for a Variance VN-203 has been made by Hobar Publications to permit an initial reduction in the construction of the required number of parking spaces. WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: 1. That the application for a Variance VN-203 was filed with the City on March 13, 1979. 2. That the'Board of Review heard and reviewed the application at its regular meeting on March 20, 1979. 3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held a public hearing on March 27, 1979, all person's present at the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard and said hearing was continued to the April 10, 1979 Council meeting. 4. That the Board of Review heard and reviewed the site plan amendments at a special meeting April 5, 1979 and the written comments and analysis of the City Planner, and all person's statements made at the Board of Review meeting were considered. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Review that the following Findings of Fact are made in respect to VN-203, 1. The applicant because of the type of business and number of employees will not make use of the required 35 parking spaces. 2. The applicant could at anytime construct the required. parking spaces at the site. 3. The result of the construction of less than the required parking spaces will be additional landscaped areas. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that VN-203 be approved subject to the following conditions: 1. That the City Council can require the applicant to provide the thirty-.five (35) parking spaces at such a time as the City Council feels the additional parking is needed.
