AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE PURSUANT TO SECTION 11-040 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON THE CONSTRUCT PERMIT ION OF A PARKING AREA N HE FRONT YARD WITHOUT THE NECESSARY SET- BACKS, LANDSCAPING, CONCRETE CURBING, AND LACK OF A DUSTLESS SURFACE. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the New Brighton City Council will meet on August 28, 1979, at 7:40 o'clock p.m. at the New Brighton City Hall, New Brighton, Minnesota to consider: A request for a variance to install a parking area to be used until the spring of 1981 in the front yard of a site pursuant to Section 11-040 of the New Brighton Zoning Code. This front yard was previously designated and approved as a landscape area. This proposed parking area does. not have the required setback, concrete curbing and is not of a dustless surface. PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: That part of the South 250 feet of the North 283 feet of the East 217 feet of Lot 1, Auditor's Subdivision No. 26, Ramsey County, Minnesota in Section 32, Township 30 North, Range 23, which lies Easterly of the Easterly line of Interstate Highway 35W as located over that part of said Auditor's Subdivision No. 26 and subject to an easement over the East 16.5' (sixteen and a half feet) of the South 250 feet of the North 283 feet of said Lot 1, Auditor's Subdivision No. 26. and The South one hundred (S. 100) feet of the North three hundred eighty-three (N. 383) feet lying East of Trunk Highway No. 35W, Lot one (1), Auditor's Subdivision No. 26, according to the recorded plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds of Ramsey County, Minnesota. (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75 percent of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as second-class matter in its local post-office. (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the Village of New Brighton in the County of Ramsey and it has its known office of issue in the Village of New Brighton in said county, established and open during its regular business hours for the gathering of news, sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions ana main. tained by the publisher of said newspaper or persons in his employ and subject to his direction and control during all such regular business hours at which said newspaper is printed. (6) Said news- paper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society.
