COUNTY OF RAMSEY , ' ~ CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON f RESOLUTION MAKLNG FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE, VN-211 - WHEREAS, An application for a variance entitled VN-211 j has been made by Irv-Moen-to create two .lots with Tess than. the required widths. << WHEREAS The procedural history of the application is ~ as follows: i i 1. That an application for a variance, VN-211 was filed with the City of New Brighton on August 20, 1979. '~ 2. That .such application was reviewed by the New Brighton' Planning Commission Board o.f Review on august 22, 1979,, 3. That .the City Council, pursuant to published and 1 mailed notices-, held a public hearing on September 11,' 1979:, all person's present at the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard. 4. The.writeen .comments-and analysis of the City. staff, ' the Planning Commission minutesand recommendations. were considered. ' NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the New Brighton City Council makes the following Findings of Fact in_respect to VN-211: i 1. That the.-property is zoned-R-1, Single family Residential; 2. That the required lot width in an R-1 district is 75 feet; ` 3. That the variance request is for 2 lots 74.49 feet in width and this is a minor deviation from the code ; 4. That .the subdivision makes the most efficient use of that property; 1 S. That both proposed lots have an area which exceeds .the required. 10,000 square feet.
