<br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />?o?v? ?gpy <br />Ao <br />Pursuant to notice thereof a regular meeting of the New <br />Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, November 25, 1980 <br />at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 5th Avenue NW, <br />New Brighton, Minnesota. <br />Present: Mayor James Senden, Councilmembers Bob Benke, <br />Jeanette Janecek, Steve Schmidt <br />Absent: Councilmember Roger Blomquist <br />Also <br />Present: Dennis S. Zylla, City Manager <br />Donald L. Lais, City Attorney <br />Les Proper, City Engineer <br />Jim Winkels, Director of Community Development <br />Joan Archer, City Planner <br />Vern Pederson, City Clerk <br />Minutes <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Schmidt to approve <br />the minutes-of November 12, 1980 as presented. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />The Mayor with consent of the Council directed <br />receipt of the Board of Planning minutes of November <br />6, 1980; Commission of Environmental Quality minutes <br />of November 13, 1980; Downtown Advisory Board minutes <br />of November 6, 1980; and Downtown Advisory Board <br />minutes of November 13, 1980 as presented. <br />Consent Agenda <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Schmidt to approve the <br />following items: <br />1) Consolidated fund vouchers 51160-51202; 57431-57605 <br />2) Liquor fund vouchers 13481-13546 <br />3) Set date and time of public hearing for December 9, 1980: <br />VN-217, Chemical Technology, Inc. 7:40 p.m. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Public bearings <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Benke toVN-215, Belair <br />continue the hearing to December 23, 1980 7:40 - 7:42 <br />at 7:35 p.m. at the request of the petitioner.
