RESOLUTION NO <br />NEW BRIGHTON PLANNING COh4P1ISSI0N <br />BOARD OF REVIEW <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL <br />OF VARIANCE APPLICATION VN-216 <br />WHEREAS, An application for a variance VN-216 has been <br />made by Tom Willmus to allow street yard parking on industrial <br />j property. <br />WHEREAS, The procedural history of the application is as <br />follows: <br />1. That an application for a variance, UN-216 was filed <br />with the City on August 14, 1980. <br />2. That the Board of Review heard and reviewed the <br />application at its regular meeting on August 19, 1980 <br />and September 16, 1980. <br />3. The written comments and analysis of the City Planner <br />and all person's statements made at the Board of <br />Review meeting were consi dered. <br />N06J THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Review that <br />the following Findings of Fact are made in respect to VN-216: <br />1. That the property is zoned I-2, Heavy Industrial; <br />2. That the design for the proposal denotes customer and <br />employee parking on the east and west sides of the <br />building with large commercial vehicular parking <br />between the buildings to be screened from surrounding <br />residential properties and the public right-of-way; <br />3. That the street yard parking is approximately 100 feet <br />from the public right-of-way; <br />4. That the property County Ditch #2 is situated on the <br />eastern portion of the .site prohibiting construction <br />of structures in that area. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Board of Review recommends <br />approval of VN-216 contingent on the following conditions: <br />1. That the landscaping east of the parking lot be <br />well maintained to provide screening of the parking <br />from the public right-of-way; and <br />2.
