F ~~~ <br />ul~~ ®~~~ <br />~~o~ ~~~ <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />~s ~p~p <br />s~ ~`NV~ p@~av <br />~~o g~~N <br />N <br />Pursuant to notice thereof a regular meeting of the New <br />Brighton City Council was-held Tuesday, June 23, 1981 <br />at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal-building, 80 3 5th Avenue NW, <br />New Brighton, Minnesota. <br />Present: Councilmembers Bob Benke, Roger Blomquist, <br />Jeanette Janecek, Steve Schmidt <br />Absent: Mayor James Senden <br />Also <br />Present: Jim Fornell, City Manager <br />Don Lais, City Attorney <br />Joan Archer, City Planner <br />Les Proper, Director of Public Works <br />Jim Winkels, Director of Community Development <br />Acting Mayor Roger Blomquist-presided <br />Minutes <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Janecek to approve the <br />,~` minutes of June 9, 1981 as presented. <br />4 ayes - O.nayes - motion carried <br />The Acting Mayor with consent of the Council directed receipt <br />and filing of the Commission of Environmental Quality minutes <br />of June 11, 1981 as presented. <br />Special Order of Business <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Schmidt to Resolution of <br />waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION OF Appreciation to <br />APPRECIATION TO ROBERT R. COLLARD. Robert Collard <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried RESOLUTION NO. 2469 <br />' Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke to Resolution of <br />waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION Appreciation to <br />OF APPRECIATION TO DENNIS DUPRE.
