CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />J RESOLUTION-MAKING FINDINGS 'OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION <br />FOR A PRELIMINARY PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT <br />WHEREAS, An application for a Preliminary Planned <br />Residential Development entitled PRD #27 has been mad.e by <br />R•C.E• Corporation/Brickner to construct 114 residential units <br />at a sitelocated generally south of Mississippi Street, :north <br />of Rice Creek goad, east of 29th AvenVe N.W. and west of .the. <br />Rice Creek Shopping Center. <br />• WHEREAS, The procedural history of the application is-as <br />f - follows: <br />,1. That an application for Planned Resitdential. Developmen', <br />was filed with the City of New Brighton, <br />That such application was reviewed by the New Brighton yl <br />Planning Commission Board of Review on May 15, 1979 <br />and June 19, 1979. <br />3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and <br />mailed notices, held a public hearing on July 10, <br />1979, all person's present at the hearing were given <br />an opportunity to be heard.- <br />4. The written comments and analysis of the City staff, <br />the Planning Commission minutes and recommendations <br />were considered. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the New Brighton City <br />Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect to <br />PRD #27: <br />' - 1. That the <br />proposed development is consistent with the <br />proposed Comprehensive-Plan; <br />2. That the proposed development would not be detrimental <br />to public health,.safety, morals and general welfare <br />of the surrounding area; . <br />t 3.` That the proposal is consistent with the stated <br />purposes of the PRO ordinance as it makes the most <br />efficient use of land and open space. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the application for the - <br />preliminary PRD #27 is hereby approved following conditions: y pProved subject to the <br />'?'? - - • 1.
