<br />J <br /> <br />fI' <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />council Meeting Minutes <br />January 27, 1987 <br /> <br />IIn addition to the staff report, Sinda updated Council on his <br />meeting with the other municipalities concerned and the Ramsey <br />County delegation at the at the state Legislature. Commissioner <br />Duane Mccarty and Judge Marsden will sit down during the next <br />month and try to work something out; several legislators indicated <br />they were ready to submit legislation clarifying the courts should <br />remain in the cities. <br /> <br />Sinda recommended the council approve the resolution authorizing <br />legal action challenging the closing of Ramsey County Suburban <br />Courts; however, follow-through take place after the February 24, <br />1987, meeting with the Ramsey County delegation at the <br />Legislature. <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Williams to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LEGAL ACTION CHALLENGING THE <br />CLOSING OF RAMSEY roUNTY SUBURBAN roURTS AND THE TRANSFER OF <br />CERTAIN roURT FUNCTIONS TO THE COURTHOUSE IN ST.
