OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BP,IGHTON <br />_~ <br />Cad <br />~ ~~ <br />~ ~~ <br />-~ <br />c~ I <br />~ 1~ <br />i1 <br />~'~', <br />s = I! <br />~' = <br />` °Av~ 1 ~ 19 <br />~~ 1. <br />T, <br />~% <br />%,~ <br />r <br />,~ <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND ApPROUING VARIANCE, VN-228 <br />WHEREAS, an application for VN-228 has been made by the <br />Korean United Methodist Church for property described as: <br />Unplated Land South 265.76' of Part Lying West of Minnesota <br />Transfer Railroad Right Away of Northwest 4 of Northeast ; <br />and Except East 260' Line South of theNorth 30'; Part Line <br />West of Said Right Away and Northwesterly of Highway 8-63 <br />of Southwest 4 of Northeast 4 Subject to Road Any Easement <br />in Section 29 Township 30 Range 23.. <br />to put up a cross which will extend above the existing roof line <br />and which also constitutes a second sign, and <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is ~~ <br />follows: <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />That an application fora variance VN-228 was filed with ~ <br />the City on December 5, 1983. <br />That the Planning Commission, pursuant to published and <br />mailed notices, held a public hearing on December 20, 1983, <br />all persons present at the hearing were given an ~ <br />opportunity to be heard. <br />That such application was reviewed by the City Council <br />on December 27, 1983. <br />The written comments and analysis of the City staff, the <br />Planning Commission minutes and recommendations were <br />considered. ~ <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the <br />following Findings of Fact are made in respect to VN-228: <br />1. That the property is zoned R-1 Single Family Residential. <br />2. That the building was originally constructed as a school <br />. and retains that character. <br />3.
