A site survey and proposed site plan are also attached. Their <br />existing garage was destroyed during the recent tornado. That garage <br />was nonconforming both in the front yard and side yard setbacks. The <br />applicant states that tf~e proposed new garage a~i11 be brought into <br />compliance-with the side yard setback requirements. The applicant also <br />states that the lot is narrow and that the existing home is placed on <br />the lot in such a manner that it is not possible to construct a two car <br />garage within the required setbacks. The proposed garage and driveway <br />configuration will provide for 6 off-street parking spaces, where before <br />there were only 2 off-street parking spaces. A petition will be sub- <br />mitted by the applicant at the public hearing stating that the surround <br />ing residents are in favor of the proposed garage and variance request. <br /> <br />
