RESOLUTION N0. <br />NEW BRIGHTOf~ PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF A <br />VARIANCE REQUEST VN-237, SIGN FOR TOM THUM6. <br />WHEREAS, an application for a variance has been made by <br />Tom Thumb; and <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history o~f the application is as <br />follows: <br />1. That an application for a variance VN-237 was filed <br />with the City on July 17, 1984. <br />2. That the Planning Commission, pursuant to published <br />-and mailed notices, held a public hearing on August <br />21, 1984, all person's present at the hearing were <br />given an opportunity to be heard. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission that <br />the following Findings of Fact are made in respect to VN-237: <br />1. That the pr per y is zoned B-2, Neighborhood Business <br />~~ <br />2. Tha~re exist alternative signable areas that are <br />visible and on which a wall sign can be displayed in <br />total conformance with the City honing Code. ~ <br />3. That there is an existing pylon sign identifying the <br />store. <br />4. That the app icant has failed to demonstr e unique <br />.and unusual it ms s undue ardship resulting <br />from denial .the variance. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the application VN-237 is afad <br />hereby recommended for denial. <br />Adopted this day of August 1984. <br />Roger S.
