<br />'' , <br />GIFTS CRITERIA <br />The City of New Brighton Parks and Recreation Department. <br />encourages the donation of gifts of money, materials or <br />services. Donations may be tax deductable and will be _......,-,, <br />used in a manner that will enhance the city's park system. <br />-Item should be~visible to public^ <br />-Item should not be in current year of operating or <br />CIP budget <br />-Item should be non-consumable, at least 5 year lif e <br />expectancy ~ ~.; <br />-Item must be consistent with the Comprehensive Park <br />Plan <br />-Donations. use must be considered by .the Park Board <br />and approved by the City Council ~.~~'~~ <br />~. <br />-Donors will be given written notice of receipt`of <br />donation and proposed use <br />-Appropriate inscriptions or plaques will be attached <br />to donations whf~n possible <br />-Donations should be used within the calendar year <br />received <br />-A donation_ should normally be used for a single <br />purchase <br />-Donations that have specifi^ recommendations for use <br />are not ~".}~ject to the above criteria. <br />Donations of trees, materi~ls or services must be appro- <br />priate but are not subject to the above criteria. <br />2/16/82 <br />
