Downtown Development <br />Van Hatten stated it is in a stage of public hearings and a lull. <br />The plan has been described and there have been no changes. Tax <br />.increment was approved at the Tuesday Council meeting. <br />Hogan said two contracts have been signed with Krause-Anderson. <br />They are planning to get something in .the ground this fall. <br />Announcements <br />A. Springbrook Dedication <br />Anderson said he would mention the dedication in-case anyone is <br />interested in seeing a full scale nature center. <br />Johnson said he would like to have potential gift list prioritized <br />for the next agenda while we are doing budget. <br />• <br />Dahl said not only prioritize but-also have criteria for use of <br />donated money, i.e. will we use it for something visible. <br />Johnson asked about the Comprehensive Park Plan. <br />Anderson said he gave it to the City Manager but one week-ago <br />the City Planner asked if the Coittprehensive Park Plan should be <br />included in the City Comprehensive Plan and have it repro- <br />duced professionally. Anderson said yes. In comparing the park. <br />plan section of the-City Comprehensive Plan with the Comprehensive <br />Park Plan, there are many disagreements. Would like to put the <br />Comprehensive Park Plan in place of .the City's Park Plan section. <br />The Comprehensive Plan will go to the Planning Commission in <br />September and then on to the Council. Anderson likes the idea <br />of the Comprehensive Park Plan being. included in the City Compre- <br />hensive-Park Plan rather than an addendum. <br />Johnson agreed that it would be nice to have our. own section.. <br />VIII.
