March 3, 1981 Park Board Mintues Page 6 ' <br />.Solberg suggested Plaza Park <br />Hogan -.Plaza Park <br />Grimshaw - Silver Plaza <br />Dahl - Sun City <br />Anderson - Meadows <br />Gunderman said he liked Meadows. <br />Dahl agreed. <br />Schmidt -Tundra <br />Van Hatters - Tall Oaks <br />Van Hatten - Pine Lands, Blood Lands <br />Hogan - Walnut Park <br />Johnson - Park Place <br /> <br />Motion by Hogan, seconded by Van Hatten, to name the park Park Place. <br />Motion failed; 3 ayes, 3 Hayes, 2 abstained. • <br />Motion by Carlson, seconded by Dahl, to name the park Meadow Park. <br />Van Hatten amended-the wording to Meadow Lands. <br />Amendment failed for lack of second. <br />4 ayes, 4 Hayes on Carlson's motion. <br />Motion by Dahl, seconded by Johnson, to name the park Park Place.. <br />Motion failed; 2 ayes, 5 Hayes <br />Motion by Van Hatters, seconded by Johnson, to name the park Meadow <br />.Land. Motion failed; 3 ayes, 4 Hayes <br />Motion by Van Hatters, seconded by Hogan, to name the park Walnut Park. <br />Motion failed; 4 ayes, 4 Hayes <br />Motion by Dahl, seconded by Johnson, to name the park Meadow Woad <br />Park. Motion carried; 6 ayes <br />Motion by Van Hatters, seconded by Johnson to accept the concept plan <br />as is. Motion passed. <br />Anderson said the only change was the tot lot area was moved because <br />the developer. did not want to fence the ponding area by the cul-de~ac. <br />D. Statement of Expectations <br />Gunderman stated the Council had asked the Park Board to put together <br />a statement of expectations for Park Board members and asked for dis- <br />cussion and commer.Ys i~o the one An~.erson ~~abmittec~. <br />
