'- /~ , <br />o~ncil Business <br />• T e Director of Parks and Recreation was <br />present to answer questions. <br />P1otion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke to <br />waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION <br />REGARDING FUNDING FOR OPERATION AND <br />MAINTENANCE OF REGIONAL PARKS. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist <br />to direct staff and the Park Board to <br />prepare a feasibility study for the <br />development of Long Lake Park as a City <br />park. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Mr. Abe Rosenthal, representing Tyson <br />Trucking, Inc., was present to answer <br />questions. <br />Mr. Rosenthal concurred with the suggestion <br />that the food warehouse definition coincide <br />with the definition of food warehouses found <br />in Chapter 231 of Minnesota Statutes. <br />• Motion by Senden, seconded by Schmidt to waive <br />the reading and hold the first reading of AN <br />ORDINANCE AMEPIDING CHAPTER 10 OF TIiF NEW <br />BRIGHTON CITY CODE RELATING TO FOOD WAREI~OUSING <br />OPERATIONS subject to amending Section 1 so <br />that the definition of food warehouse shall <br />be consistent with that found in Chapter 231 <br />of Minnesota Statutes. <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist to <br />amend the motion by amending the proposed <br />ordinance by separating out in Section 10-10 <br />the provisions regarding acceptance of other <br />agency's inspection reports and provisions <br />of renewal of licenses if inspection reports <br />are not received. <br />Vote on .amendment. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Vote on main motion as amended. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Allen Bauer, Fire Chief, was present. <br />• The Mayor with the consent of Council <br />directed the receipt of the Municipal <br />Fire Hall Report.
