Grau, Administrative Assistant <br /> <br />The purpose of the meeting was to establish the City Council's <br />goals and objectives for 1981. <br />The Council discussed the need to review the City's objectives <br />on a regular basis. It was agreed that the objectives should <br />be placed on the Council agenda the first meeting after each <br />quarter. It was further agreed that the City Council will <br />meet with the Commission Chairpersons in mid-February. A <br />tentative date for this meeting was set for February 19, 1981. <br />Dennis Zylla reviewed fifty-two (52) 19$0 City and departmental <br />objectives. The following 1981 City objectives were then <br />established: <br />* Hire a new City Manager <br />* Downtown Development <br />* Liquor Store Facilities <br />* Public Safety Building <br />~ Long Lake Park <br />~* Completion of Comprehensive Park Plan <br />* Comprehensive Plan Implementation <br />* Cable TV <br />* Solicj Waste Management <br />* Police Action Plan Implementation <br />* Housing Needs Assessment <br />* Management Systems Improvement <br />~ City Facilities Review (Land & Buildings) <br />:~'~ Financial Status Survey <br />
