~, Board of Review <br />V f _ Regular Meeting <br />`' January 15, 1980 <br />Page #2 <br />ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN <br />Chairman Leverkuhn stated that nominations were in order. <br />Commissioner Livingston nominated Commissioner Williams as <br />Vice Chairman. <br />Motion by Sande, second by Lang that nominations cease and that <br />the record show that a unaminous ballot was cast for Commissioner <br />Williams to .serve as Vice Chairman. <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, motion carried. <br />LP-97, LIQUID .SCALE <br />The applicant Dale Tilden and builder. Pat-Cobb were present to <br />answer any questions. <br />Chairman Leverkuhn questioned the exterior wall treatment. <br />Mr. Cobb stated that the front on Old Highway #8 would be decora- <br />tive block and the other walls would be painted concrete block. <br />Motion by Williams, second by Lang that the Board recommend <br />approval of LP-97 contingent on the following conditions: <br />7. That the southern portion. of the proposed driveway <br />be realigned and approved by Ramsey County; and <br />2. The conformance with site-and landscape plans <br />signed and dated by the. applicant and City Planner. <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, motion carried. <br />PRD #30, PL-127 SILVER HILLS <br />The applicant, Jake Cadwallader presented a revised site plan. <br />The plan indicated that the tennis courts on the southwestern <br />portion of the site would be relocated-and that 12 townhouses <br />would be constructed in that area. This would provide for a <br />park on the northern portion of-the property and all the housing <br />development would be located on the southern portion of the site. <br />The applicant stated that he would relocate the tennis court at <br />his expense., <br />Commissioner Livingston questioned the proposed parking layout for <br />the townhouse and condominiums. <br />The applicant stated that the townhouse units would have 2 car <br />garages and that there is an area for additional parking for the <br />townhouse denoted on the site plan. The condominium units will be <br />serviced by 24 garages directly to the west of the building and will <br />also make use of the existing parking lot along Oakwood Drive. <br />
