Long Lake Surface Use Recommendation <br />1, No wake in channel. <br />2. Establish a direction of travel for power boats. <br />3. Establish a distance of operation from shore for <br />power boats, e.g. 75-x.00 feet. <br />~-. Do not atternpt speed limits . <br />5. Do not use zones due to configuration of lake, <br />6. Needs of different seasons must be addressed. <br />7. Access to lake and park should be by parking permit. <br />8. Time zoning should be established. <br />g, Establish controls for motor vehicles on ice during <br />winter season. <br />10. Boats should be beached only at launch area. <br />11. Canoes and other small craft should be kept wit'nin <br />75-100 feet of shore. <br />12. Surface controls during. flood and health endangering <br />conditions <br />13, Address problem of aircraft operation. <br />Access Design <br />1. Control number of users by parking restrictions. <br />2. A maximum of three power boats should be allowed <br />on take at one time. <br />3, A high quality launch and parking area should be <br />constructed. <br />
