Administration Motion by Rebelein, seconded by landerson to draft direct administration to prepare a resolution:. resolution ` statinga finding of fact and approving the reuse of .the property in accordance with the conditions ' noted in the withdrawn motion above 4 ayes 1 naye (Eagan).. - carried New Business Motion by Eagon, seconded by 13nderson to receive Park Site administrative report dated April 2, ]_975 Grading Plans _ 5 ayes - 0 Hayes - carried The Director of Parks and Recreation reviewed the, proposed grading plans for Vermont Park Vermont :Park ~Mr. Ted Kern, 109 First Street S,E, asked whether the ~: deletion on the most recent plan for the park would r' provide more money so that development could proceed more rapidly.. It was noted to Mr. Kernthat ' any.deletions would have no effect on the cost or schedule of the grading but that it would enable ..more portions of the final development to be completed at an earlier date. Motion by Eagan, seconded by ~~ndersor. to direct administration ro prepare final plans and specifications -for Vermont Park 5 ayes - 0 Hayes - carried The Director of Parks and Recreaticn reviewed 29th Avenue grading plans and situ. layout for the 29th Iwenue Park Park Site Site, noting difference on the two plans--one would .close: 29th .tlvenue,andthe other .would have it remain open.. _ The .Director noted that the Park Department and the Park. Board. were in .favor of the closing since. it .; provided more park space and more continuity in the park. ~ It was further noted that. the Police Department,`Engineering ~ Department .and Fire Department had some coticerh regarding ~" the closing based upon traffic flow and safety considerations.
