Total attendane~ was 19,223. <br />Playgrounds hook two major trips; Apple River (120), .Twins game (~+5) and <br />had a special events day at Veterans Parlc (250). <br />Arts and Crafts: Operated at all playgrounds by playground leaders. Met <br />twice a week for six weeks. on .Tuesdays. and Thursdays. Par~eipants "made <br />small individual crafts :including pendants, plaster molQs,;ete, Total <br />attendance was 910. <br />Music and Dramatics: New activity ava~.lable through each playground for <br />one hour each week, Participants learned to have fun with music and <br />learned Borne. dramatic techniques. Total attendance .was 336.. <br />Fun for Tots: Activity for ~-5 year olds, Held at each park, twice a <br />weep. Partiedpants learn crafts, games, music, etc, 86 children partici- <br />pated, total. participation was 972. <br />Playground Tykes: Activity for 3.year olds. Held at Hansen Park on- ,' <br />P'ri-days. 2 participants, total participation was, 153. Children learned <br />to ..socialize and crafts, games. <br />T-Ball; Children 6-8 years old at four park sites. Total registx'ation <br />was 310.. Met sixteen tunes at each site for total participation of 3,9+5. <br />Girls Softball; Ages 9-1~. Ten teams with total of ;102 girls,.'-.total <br />participation was 984.- Girls played teams from surrounding communities. <br />Twirling Tykes: For children 3-5~years old, instructed lay Joy Shockley <br />at Ilansen and Freedom .Parks .
