PRIORITY CRITERIA FOR 5-YEAR C.I.P. <br />A priority system which objectively classifies improvement projects is <br />required so that projects can be ranked in importance. <br />Priority Determinants - A project's priority designation is determined <br />by its potential to satisfy the following criteria. <br />A project being considered should provide an accountable opportunity to: <br />Accessibility Provide a recreation area within walking access <br />of every resident. Improved access can be <br />achieved by acquisition of land, circumvention <br />of barriers, relationship of facility size to <br />potential users, etc. <br />Balance Provide a balanced system of facilities for all <br />ages, sexes and recreational interests. <br />Aesthetics Provide an aesthetically pleasing park system. <br />Function Provide a system of parks, each of which is <br />designed to be utilized extensively.
