Tennis Courts at Silver Oak Elementary School Geri Evans, 151 20th Avenue S.W. addressed the Park Board for the possible joint development of tennis courts located at Silver Oak Elementary School in NeUa Brighton. The joint agreement would be between, the City of St. Anthony, St. Anthony School District 282 and the City of New Brighton. Mrs. Evans asked that a representative from the Park Board serve on a committee to study possible agreement to develop tennis facilities at Silver Oak. The Board indicated an interest in the development and asked what the current Capital Improvements Plan for 1974-78 called for concerning the Silver Oak site. It was explained to the Board that development for the Silver Oak site was planned for 1977. The Board assigned Marty Sullivan to serve on the committee. W~_nter Facilities Scheduling The Board was informed that the Department would continue the policies as established in 1973 relating to the skating rinks. Sullivan asked if storage for footwear at Hansen Park was at all possible and it was stated that such a project would be looked into. Question was asked if hockey boards were going to be painted. The Department answered it is the intention to paint hockey boards t~rherever necessary and that the Lake Region Hockey Association had been asked to support in the purchase of paint.
