(2) <br />Bond Issue Proposal <br />D3_scussion of the proposed bond issue was postponed until results can <br />be obtained from the "Community Survey" being conducted by the Department. <br />Motion by Cook to discontinue discussion of a bond issue until survey <br />results were available. Seconded by Jasinski. Motion carries 6-0. <br />Donation by Designed Fiberglass <br />Motion was r~lade by Jasinski to reject the donation of the fiberglass <br />bull to the park system, as it cannot be made safe. Seconded by Dahl. <br />Ayes - Dahl and Jasinski. Nayes - Cook, Gunderman, Sullivan and Weissman. <br />Item was placed on agenda for May meeting. <br />Ramsey County Open Space System <br />The Board was informed of legislation passed which dealt with Metro- <br />politan Open Space. The affects of this legislation in relationship <br />to Ramsey County's proposed purchase. of the Rush Lake site was discussed. <br />Department Report <br />1. It was brought to the attention of the Park Board that a letter <br />submitted by John G. Bell, Attorney at Law, requesting vacation <br />of the alleys located along 1~-th and 12th Avenues N.W., just north <br />of County Road E. <br />Motion made by Cook to vacate said alleys.
