The Board was informed that the Park and Recreation Department's <br />budget for 1973 was approved as submitted. <br />2. It was explained to the Board that certain problems regarding County <br />acquisition of Rice Creek property had arisen. The problems resulted <br />from the conditions which the-Council had placed on the acquisition. <br />-These conditions were 1aresently under negotiation. <br />3. The Board was notified that the School District 621 had not yet <br />approved the Joint Powers Agreement for the lighting of Highview <br />Junior High School hockey rinks, but it was anticipated that they <br />would do so. <br />Miscellaneous <br />Gunderman requested that a letter be sent to John Buckley congratulating <br />him on his appointment as Park and Recreation Director for the Village <br />of Arden Hills. <br />Gunderman requested that a letter be sent to Moundsview Little League <br />Football Association and Don jhTeissman congratulating him on a successful <br />program. <br />Dahl informed the Board that she attended a meeting concerning School <br />District 621 Community School Program. <br />Meeting adjourned at 9e~-5 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, ' <br />Robert M.
