Y <br />~. <br />. ~ Park Board Minutes <br />' May 14, 1969 <br />After discussing the matter, there was a motion by Hagemeyer, <br />seconded by Hansen that a committee would be requested to work on <br />the naming of all park sites. Motion carried. Morris abstained <br />Mr. Weissman appeared at 8a4S <br />Jaycee president, Russ Peterson, submitted the name of Mr. Frank <br />Haberkorn, 636 Riviera Drive (63.3-8998) as Jaycee-representative. <br />The discussion being completed, the Board returned to other <br />business. <br />DEBT AMORTIZATION, PROPOSAL IN ACTUAL_ <br />Morris requested that the Village physical agent prepare a table <br />showing the proposed debt retirement schedule as contained in the <br />comprehensive park report and the actual debt retirement program as <br />resulting as has accrued together with an explanation for cost <br />differential and a reason thereof. <br />DRINKING FOUNTAINS AT SHELTERS <br />Weissman made inquiry into the fountains at the shelters. One <br />appeared to have been broken and the other does not appear to be <br />of secure installation. It is requested that information on this <br />be forwarded to the Board. <br />STATUS OF 22 ACRES PARK SITE -MISSISSIPPI AND SILVER LAKE ROAD <br />Motion by Morris, seconded by Hansen that the Village immediately <br />instruct a barricade across the access being used by N. E. Realty <br />and others to prevent further damage to park land near Rice Creek <br />Road and Silver Lake Road. Motion carried <br />Motion by Weissman, seconded by Morris that the Park Board be placed <br />on Council agenda May 27 to discuss the proposed preliminary plat, <br />Rice Creek'Villa and to invite the developer to also be present at <br />this meeting. Motion carried <br />Motion by Morris, seconded by Hagemeyer to adjourn the meeting at <br />10:50 p.m. <br />
