• <br />PARK HOARD <br />Minutes of April 10, 1968 Meeting <br />Meeting Gaited to order at 8:00 P.M. <br />Present were: Gunderman, Morris, Hagemeyer, Hansen, Robert Schae#er, Don Hrauer <br />and Chuck Hefty of Brauer 8 Associates, and Arthur Dickey, Architect. <br />Weissman appeared at 8:05, Moen appeared at 8;30 P.M. <br />Sh~,I,ter- Des i an <br />Board discussed 'in general the space requirements and design of park shelters. <br />Mr. Dickey w-ill provide some concept drawings at the next meeting. <br />~~VCON Progress <br />Board was informed of the approval by Ramsey County of the LAWC~t application and <br />acknowledgement of receipt of application by the Department of Conservation, .State <br />of Minnesota . <br />Plan Site - 7 St. Park <br />Motion by Hansen, to eliminate one ball field in preference to the creation of an <br />island as originally proposed. Ma#ion died for lack of second. <br />Mo#ion by Hansen, seconded by Gunderman to re-instatl the island concept in the plan. <br />5 Ayes - 0 Noyes -Carried. <br />Motion by Morris, seconded by Nansen, to recommend that the Council approve plans <br />and specifications for basic situ work at the 7 St. Park site. <br />5 Ayes - 0 Noyes -Carried. <br />Mr. Hrauer presented a proposed schedule for the plans and specifications on the 7 <br />St. Site. <br />April 5 and May 2 -legal ads far bids to appear in papers. <br />May 6, open bids. <br />May 8, Park Board consider bids and make recommendation of award to Counci{. <br />May 14, Council award of bids for basic site work - 7 St. Park <br />Motion by Weissman, seconded by Hansen, to adjourn meeting. <br />A!I Ayes -Carried. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:12 P.M. <br />Respect#ully submitted <br />R . t:'.
