A bituminous paved parking lot, with <br />concrete curbs will provide £er space for X88 50 cars. <br /> <br />Revise map -.Section IX (Development Details), page IX-10, <br />Concept Detail Map <br />Reduce the graphic size of the 100 .car parking lot <br />by eliminating the north section (50 cars) reducing <br />the number of open shelters to two). <br />Stipulation No. 3 <br />That parking at the boat launch area be reduced to accommodate 15 vehicles <br />with trailers; 5 for high speed boats and 10 for fishing boats or sail <br />boats with development delayed until 1983 as requested by the New Brighton <br />Historical Society. <br />Although it is the opinion of the. staff that the number of parking <br />spaces for vehicles with boat trailers not be reduced from 20 to <br />15, (reduction of parking £or vehicles transporting fishing boats) <br />the staff does not object to such a reduction in deference to the <br />political circumstances associated-with the boat launch facility. <br />It is the opinion of the staff that the lake has the surface <br />capacity to accommodate at least 50 fishing boats and that high <br />speed boats will prefer to use other lakes due to competition <br />with fishermen for lake surface and the general character of the F, <br />lake which is not conducive to high speed boating. <br />It is also the opinion of the staff that the request to delay <br />construction of the boat launch until 1983 is consistent with the. <br />draft Master Plan since said ,development is not budgeted until 1983 <br />in the "Five Year Development Capital .Improvement Program". Refer <br />to Section IX (Development Details), page IX-18. <br />
