Motion passed. <br />Motion by Johnson, seconded by Solberg, that donations that have <br />specific recommendations for use are not subject to the "Gift <br />Criteria." Motion passed. <br />F. Discussion of Procedures and Timing for Decision on Long Lake <br />Master Plan <br />Anderson wants an idea from the Park Board as to the procedure to <br />be taken when the Long Lake Master Plan comes to the Park Board <br />from the Long Lake. Study Committee. Want to make sure it is <br />handled properly so that steps are not skipped and it is handled <br />as quickly as possible. He recommended that the Park Board and <br />Council meet jointly to explain the plan and hear comments <br />on the plan and that action be taken at subsequent Park Board <br />and Council meetings. <br />The Park Board discussed how the meetings should be handled. <br />There was some concern that the Park Board should see the <br />master plan before it is discussed with anyone else. <br />Motion by Dahl, seconded by Johnson, that the first meeting with <br />• the Long Lake Park Master Plan draft will be a Park Board meeting. <br />The meeting will be a presentation to the Park Board from the <br />Long Lake Study Committee. Motion passed. <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Dahl, that the second meeting <br />be a joint meeting with the City Council with no action taken, <br />the next meeting will attempt to formulate a recommendation to <br />the Council. Motion passed. <br />Gunderman stated that he, Anderson, Polzak and Jacobs had met <br />on several occasions to discuss a lease proposal that Jacobs <br />was developing. He .further stated that it was an interesting <br />concept but that it didn~t appear .that it would be an attractive <br />concept for Ramsey County. <br />Harcus said maybe we could do the development. <br />Gunderman said he likes the idea if it would go over-with Ramsey <br />County. <br />Anderson said Jacobs will have to talk to the County, if he <br />doesn't he is wasting his time. <br />Gunderman said sometimes someone new on the scene brings a new <br />light. <br />• Harcus stated the appointment of commissions will be on January 12th. <br />
