<br />` ~ y. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 454 <br />AN ORDINANCE C;OVERNING SURFACE <br />USE OF LONG LAKE <br />The Council of the City of New Brighton does hereby ordain <br />as follows: <br />Section 1. Chapter 19 of the New Brighton City Code is <br />hereby amended by adding thereto Article IIT, Long Lake Surface <br />l-se which shall read as follows: <br />Sec. 19-30. Definitions. <br />~ For the purposes of this Chapter, the following words and <br />phrases shall have the meaning respectively ascribed to them: <br />Wake: Is any disturbance of the water caused by a motor- <br />powered watercraft operating in excess of closed throttle <br />and in excess of 5 MPH. <br />PIo Wake: Is the disturbance in the water, if any, caused <br />by non-motorized watercraft or motorized watercraft oper~~t::ir~ <br />at closed throttle and less than 5 MPH. <br />Sec.. 19-31. No Wake Zones. <br />is <br />a. A no wake zone is hereby established on the surface Ut <br />Long Lake to cover all waters within 100 feet of t.hc~ <br />shoreline except as modified by authorized bouys. <br />b. A no wake zone is established over the entire lake whe~~; <br />the water elevation of the lake is 866 feet or more ~ak~<,~-~ <br />mean sea level. <br />c.
