We11 House Construction --Les Proper
Les Proper was present to show site plan and construction of
well house #11. It would be located on the Northeast corner
of Hansen Park. It is a large structure to house pump and.
filter to remove .iron from the water. The building is 40 ft.
wide and 60 ft. deep. It is a tall building but would be
partially buried because it can be built into a hill. All
concrete and steel building so it is maintenance free .and
very. secure. If a 2nd well is needed it must be placed a
long distance away but a raw line can run to the building
for filtering the water. No fence is foreseen.
The Park Board made the comments:
-They like the building being
making it not so obvious
-Think shrubs and trees around
enhance its appearance
-Understood this was the best
built into the hill
the building would
alternative for the site.
Motion by Van Hatten, seconded by Johnson, to approve the
plan and location of well-and building as proposed. .Motion
carried.
C.
