3) Provide a detailed budget plan for the Volunteers In Police Service (V1YS) program. <br />Our goal is to obtain a software package, titled CompuKid Child Identification, for our existing child ID program. <br />This software will enhance our program to provide an improved product, which is headed by our YIPS members. <br />• We are requesting $1,200 for this program. <br />Additionally, we are requesting $1,000 to conduct a BART (Basic Animal Rescue Training) class for our existing <br />YIPS members. <br />We are, also, requesting $412.20 to devote to ongoing instructional training for our YIPS members which meet <br />monthly. <br />Lastly, we request $290.24 towards administration and management casts in maintaining this program. <br />4) Provide a detailed budget plan for the Neighborhood Watch program. <br />It is our goal in the early summer of 2006 to conduct a large exercise involving members of the New Brighton <br />community along with Public Safety employees. <br />This exercise will follow the HSEEP format beginning with table top sessions leading up to the final disaster type <br />exercise to be conducted within the New Brighton jurisdiction. <br />We are requesting $2300.00 in planning for the exercise and an additipnal $602.44 to cover personnel costs during <br />the actual exercise. <br />~~ <br />~~ <br />2005 Citizen Corp Program Grant <br />Page A-2 <br />
