What <br />about canoes? <br />Carlson said it would be all .car-top. <br />Van Hatten-.asked if that meant motorized launching would not be <br />allowed? <br />Carlson said that was correct. <br />Dahl said .not wanting, car-top - are you will to increase the number <br />in boat launch area? <br />Carlson said leave as plan is now. Would be willing to increase <br />along east. shore but take from south end. <br />Carlson said could put some but not l5. .Looking for control, not <br />eliminate people from using the .lake. <br />Solberg asked .why this is a problem? <br />Carlson said because there is no supervision. <br />Dahl asked what kind of supervision is necessary. <br />Carlson said people may use that launch just to have a party or for <br />theft. <br />Hogan said that will be taking away the opportunity for fishermen <br />to fish at 5:00 a.m. <br />Carlson said he supposed that would be true. <br />Johnson said he has a concern-for ..fisherman. <br />Carlson restated his amendment to eliminate the 15 car-top parking <br />places on the south end'and go with 5 trailered and 5 for fishing <br />boats and 10 for car-to at the eastern confines of the park. <br />Johnson said he is not comfortable with it. <br />Van Hatten suggested calling it a non-motorized area. <br />Carlson said .there is no management, <br />Amendment failed for lack of a second. <br />Johnson said he would be comfortable .pulling out designated area <br />but not canoes or fishing boats. <br />Amendment by Johnson, seconded by Carlson, to eliminate 15 designated <br />car-top parking spaces on the south end.. <br />
