New Brighton historical <br />information, :.nd to interpret New Brighton history to its residents. A model <br />railroad, stockyards in model form, and Beisswenger book are among these <br />'projects. The Historical Society is undertaking a project for the Hipp family, <br />and may turn. up something which could enhance the historical value of the former. <br />-Hipp homestead and farm acreage. <br />7. Motion by Quitevis, seconded by Anderson, that an archaeological survey should <br />be conducted by the Ntinnesota Historical Society. prior to further development <br />on the Long Lake/Rush Lake .site. 7 yes, 0 no. <br />8. Motion by Knuth, seconded by Quitevis, that the Board supports all efforts <br />to preserve the historical characteristics of the Long Lake/Rush Lake site, <br />and is willing to work with local and state. agencies to that end.- 7 yes, 0 no. <br />9. The next meeting of the Long Lake Regional Park Advisory Board will be on <br />Wednesday, October 19. The discussion of park. ordinances will be addressed at <br />that time.- <br />10. The meeting was adjourned by chairman Schultz at 9:40 p.m. <br />
