Executive approval is necessary for items less than $20,000.
Specifically, the Board expressed a strong desire to review the glans for all
development work prior to contracts being signed. Consequently, a specific
request to review the concept plans of the refectory building at the July
Board meeting was made.
7. Meeting Times
The Board agreed to meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 8:00 p.m
at the Edgewood Community Center in Mounds View. Chairman Schultz indicated
that`the dates of July 20 and August 17 should be reserved on the members
personal-calendars. An attempt to secure a meeting room at Edgewood
that can accommodate members of the public will be made. Members will
be notified of all meetings and cancellations, if necessary.
8. Other Business
Tony Crea, head of
the committee that
in the performance
could well set the
County.
the Ramsey County Parks and Recreation Department, assured
it would receive 100% cooperation from the Department
of the Board's mission. He noted that the Advisory Board
standard for other regional park development in Ramsey
An informal discussion was held on the potential issue of "use" policies
concerning motorized vehicles in the park.- This will be a future agenda item.
It was suggested that the committee, as a group or individually, go on a
"walking" tour of-the site. at an early date. Ken Simons offered to serve
as a guide for such a tour.. A winter tour was also suggested.
Maurie Anderson will bring the. issue of "terms" of office of the New
Brighton City Council appointees (Anderson, Commers, Dahl) to the 'City
Council of New Brighton.
