March 6, 1985 Park Board Minutes. Page3 <br />Rose asked if the meetings would be on ,Wednesdays. <br />Anderson said yes, he picked that day because Wednesday <br />is Park Boa rd night. A different day can be chosen later, if <br />necessary. <br />Van Hatten suggested the 1st three Wednesdays in September.. <br />t'~OTION BY VAN HATTEN, SECONDED BY SEWARD, TO HAVE TEAMS FOR <br />THE NEIGHBORHOOD P4EETTNGS. MOTION CARRIED, <br />Anderson said that #7 on the sample questionnaire is a _ __ ._ <br />---- - -- <br />new question on recreation programs. A~-ter typeset, there <br />would probably be room for an 8th or 9th question also. We <br />have one additional park to add.- Meadow wood. <br />Gunderman suggested having same perceptive questions, i.e. <br />do we Piave enough programs for senior citizens. <br />Anderson said that makes sense.. <br />Gunderman asked the Park Board to jot down some comments and <br />put it together next month. <br />Anderson asked if the Park Board wants to do the survey. <br />Gunderman said yes. <br />Van Hatten. asked. what specifics were available to give people <br />i.f they ask . <br />Anderson said we have maps;, master plans for each park. When <br />we go to the park we can bring the big master plan and have <br />smaller copies available has hand outs,. The residents then <br />would have a chance to make changes in thephysical plans. <br />Some may then have to be redrawn. <br />B. Election <br />Gunderman asked for a nomination for. Chair. .MOTION BY VAN HATTEN, <br />SECONDED BY OLSON , TO_NODIINATE GUNDERMAN AS CHAIR FOR THE PARK <br />BOARD. MOTION CARRIED. <br />Vice Chair nomination. <br />Anderson said that Ken and George would be next in line seniority <br />wise. <br />van Hatten suggested deferring until Ken and George are present. <br />Gunderman appointed. Van Hatten as. temporary Vice Chair because <br />he will not be at the April meeting. <br />
