Holmberg Supervisor Planning and Acquisition Subject: MONTHLY REPORT - MASTER PLANS AND DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL PARKS (September - October - 1985) I. LONG LAKE REGIONAL PARK A. Beach Refectory Building At the request of the Contractor the building again was jointly inspected by staff, the Architect, mechanical engineers and representatives of the general contractor and sub-contractors. It was determined that approximately 35 percent of items specified in 'the intial "punch list" (August) have been satisfactorily completed. An amended "punch list" is being. prepared by the Architect and will be submitted to the Contractor. with strong encouragement to complete the project by the end of November. B. Site Development Northwestern Bell completed installation of the underground telephone service to the beach refectory building during the last week of October. Generally, site work has been completed. During September and October, the. paving of roads and parking lots was completed, the beach parking lot was striped, all exposed soil was seeded and mulched ar sodded and the sanitary sewer lift station was made operational. C. Historical 50o Line Depot (New Brighton Area Historical Society) The Premises Lease Agreement was approved and signed by both the Historical Society (8-5-85) and the County Board (9-16-85). The agreement will not become effective until the Metropolitan Council approves the proposed Master Plan Amendments, one of which provides for the siting of the Depot within the park.
