LONG LAKE REGIONAL PARK <br />A. Beach Refectory Building <br />At the request of the Contractor the building again was jointly <br />inspected by staff, the Architect, mechanical engineers and <br />representatives of the general contractor and sub-contractors. <br />It was determined that approximately 35 percent of items specified <br />in 'the intial "punch list" (August) have been satisfactorily <br />completed. An amended "punch list" is being. prepared by the <br />Architect and will be submitted to the Contractor. with strong <br />encouragement to complete the project by the end of November. <br />B. Site Development <br />Northwestern Bell completed installation of the underground <br />telephone service to the beach refectory building during the <br />last week of October. <br />Generally, site work has been completed. During September <br />and October, the. paving of roads and parking lots was completed, <br />the beach parking lot was striped, all exposed soil was seeded <br />and mulched ar sodded and the sanitary sewer lift station was <br />made operational. <br />C. Historical 50o Line Depot (New Brighton Area Historical Society) <br />The Premises Lease Agreement was approved and signed by both the <br />Historical Society (8-5-85) and the County Board (9-16-85). The <br />agreement will not become effective until the Metropolitan <br />Council approves the proposed Master Plan Amendments, one of which <br />provides for the siting of the Depot within the park. <br />
