Hill /~~ <br />Assistant Gounty Attorney <br />RE: Lang Lake Park <br />DATE: July 1, 1985 <br />This is in response to a request by the Board of <br />Commissioners for a report on the development of Long Lake Park. <br />This report will be limited to the legal implications of <br />development, with particular emphasis an environmental issues.' <br />The Parks and Recreation Department will be preparing a separate <br />report with emphasis upon park development. <br />Environmental concerns relating to Lang Lake Park can be <br />divided into several categories. They incude the petroleum <br />sludge pits, ground water contamination, Williams Brothers <br />pipeline, and the Lang Lake Improvement Association <br />Environmental lawsuit, each of which will be discussed <br />separately. <br />b <br />
