ORP~~ <br />Whereas, New Brighton enjoys a reputation as having one <br />of the finest park systems in the area,, <br />and, whereas the development and maintenance of the <br />system is dependent on the efforts of dedicated maintenance <br />employees,. <br />and, whereas Jim Skiba was the first employee in the <br />Parks Department, <br />and, whereas Jim's efforts and dedication greatly assisted <br />the development and continuing maintenance of a high quality <br />system, <br />and, whereas Jim has decided to retire from city service, <br />now therefore be it resolved that the New Brighton Park <br />Board and City Council do commend and thank Jim Skiba for <br />his 19 years of work on behalf of the City of New Brighton. <br />6/4/85 <br />
