Heinrich asked if there is a bituminous path. <br />Anderson said yes but it is old. <br />Anderson said he will talk to Engineering and get a plan drawn up and bring it <br />to the Pazk Boazd. A copy will also be sent out to residents in the <br />neighborhood. <br />Trevorrow asked if anyone had an objection to having only one tennis court. <br />No objections were heazd. <br />A resident asked if only one court goes in does Silver Oak get the money from <br />the second court. <br />Anderson said no because the courts were built with State grant money. <br />A resident commented that at the last meeting there was mention of a 3-5 year <br />planting plan. <br />Anderson said plantings would be added to the plan when it comes back to the <br />Park Board. <br />Sykes asked if the basketball hoop could be moved to the other side to avoid <br />the hill. <br />MOTION BY CARISON, SECONDED BY ETCHERS, TO APPROVE THE <br />PARK REDEVELOPMENT AS RECOMMENDED BY THE <br />NEIGHBORHOOD GROUP AND REQUEST THAT A FINAL PLAN BE <br />BROUGHT BACK TO THE PARK BOARD IN JANUARY. Anderson stated that the City Manger is looking at the, possibility of having an <br />open house at the Family Service Center for boards and commissions. It <br />would be held between Christmas and New Years. The Council will take that <br />opportunity to thank the boazds and commissions. <br />Trevorrow inquired about the status of the golf course. <br />Anderson said the City is considering rebuilding or remodeling in 1997. <br />4 <br />
