Teen lounge but 6th <br />grade is still not a teen. Olsen said that discussion was that the 9th graders <br />wont want to be there. Programming will be to middle school group. 1 of 4 9th <br />graders drop out of school. 6th graders may not be as important to get in as 9th <br />grade group.. Judy Lee and Laughlin said middle school group would be most likely <br />age group to use this. Olson, middle school is 6, 7, 8th. 9th graders are in <br />high school wouldn't use. <br />Knuth If there last year for-'him, his son would have used. <br />Kinnzie but 9th graders wont go if 6th graders there. <br />Trev. what is planned. And.. youth advidsory committee to help decide how will <br />be decorated. It depends on who we talk to if no 9th graders on the committee <br />this won't be for them. <br />Ander. shy has adults & kids in open gym. Knuth asked to expand to include EW. <br />Ocel, is there a place to hang out, other than teen lounge. And. there is a <br />place next to exercise area and next to lounge. Gym has big stage on it. Would <br />have 8 mtg rooms in the building. One of mtg rooms could be a hang out space. <br />Weekends they may be able to use play area. Ocel think maybe name should be <br />renamed to Youth Louonge": <br />Williams after bldg. sees use, from 6th on up then maybe they will continue on <br />in 9th grade. <br />Scheduling Priority: <br />Knuth how is a group like IBA defined. And. Said priority 1. Knuth don't want <br />to have iBA eat up all the time. Olcon they could only use one gym. <br />Knuth what kind of relationship w/Mounds View. And. we do forestry but very <br />little programming. Knuth there are EW area that need this. <br />Williams 30 days and be bumped. <br />And. there are occasions when we would have to bump someone. <br />Williams don't want it to be donne often.. <br />
