February 2, 1994 New Brighton Pazk Boazd Minutes 3 <br />Trevorrow expressed concern about a dug out azea because it may encourage <br />vandalism and drinking. <br />Bernlohr stated the azea is not really a dug out. It is an enclosed azea; <br />enclosed by a fence. <br />Bernlohr stated that all the money they have came from New Brighton people <br />so even if the City chooses not to be involved in this, LLLL would like to see <br />the money go back into New Brighton in some form. LLLL does not have <br />any aspiration of dominating fields. There are not that many kids from New <br />Brighton. <br />Carlson asked Anderson if he had any concerns about the three proposals. <br />Anderson mentioned he was concerned about a possible pazking problem at <br />Totem Pole Pazk. He asked if Bernlohr could inform people using the pazk to <br />park only on the west side of 9th Ave. SW. <br />Cazlson asked if Bernlohr could add one more paragraph in the proposal <br />stating LLLL did not have exclusive use to any of the fields. So that in yeazs <br />down the .road there is not any confusion about this. <br />Bernlohr said that in a longer version of the proposal it is stated that all <br />improvements aze considered a gift. <br />MOTION BY CARLSON, SECONDED BY KINZIE, TO ACCEPT THE <br />T iTTi F LAKES LITTLE LEAGUE (LLLL) PROPOSAL WITH THE <br />UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE IS NO EXCLUSIVE USE OF ANY <br />FIELDS BY LLLL AND ALSO THAT LLLL AGREES TO INFORM <br />USERS OF TOTEM POLE PARK THAT THERE IS NO PARKING ON <br />THE EAST SIDE OF 9TH AVE. MOTION CARRIED. <br />The Pazk Boazd discussed their disappointment regazding the Council's action <br />on Innsbruck Pazk. <br />Trevorrow felt an explanation was needed regarding the change in the <br />Council's decision about Innsbruck Pazk. <br />Olson stated a lot of hours have been put into this. A total of about 6 <br />meetings have been held on Innsbruck Pazk; 3 of them with residents. <br />
