COMMUNITY ROOM HOURS 6:30am -Midnight SCHEDULING PRIORITY To schedule for the upcoming year (September -August), requests will be due on August 1. After August 1, requests will be done on a first come first served basis. For groups that request space at the Family Service Center a priority scheduling procedure will be followed. Note: The Community Room does not apply to this scheduling priority. Priority 1 City of New Brighton sponsored or affiliated programs/events and non athletic events for School District 621. Priority 2 Individuals, organizations, businesses, non athletic events for St. Anthony\New Brighton School District 282 and churches that are, located within the New Brighton city limits. Priority 3 Any school athletic event for School Districts 621 and 282. Priority 4 Individuals, organizations, businesses, schools, churches that are located outside the New Brighton. city limits. When interpreting #2 and #4 the address of the main office or main residence will determine the classification. CATEGORIES Most users will require a membership, admission or rental fee to participate. The different fees that are charged are based on residents/non-residents for individuals, families and groups. AFFILIATION Group A City sponsored. groups, programs or events and non athletic events for- School District 621. Group B Youth/adult groups, community/school. athletic groups and service organizations (churches, School Districts 621 and 282, county government etc.) Group C Private non-profit groups (groups parties, weddings, etc.) Group D Private or commercial organizations that operate for profit. LOCATION Resident: Individuals/groups that live in or companies/businesses that operate their main office within the New Brighton city limits. Verification of residency may be requested. Businesses with branch offices located outside the city will not have residency privileges extended to those branches. 3
