NEVJ ~O~TOI~ PARK BOARD <br />MINUTES <br />AUGUST 3, 1994 <br />I. Call to Order <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:30pm by chair Olson. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Members present: Carlson, Heinrich, Kinzie, Knuth, Ocel, Olson, Sykes, <br />Trevorrow, Council Rep. Williams <br />Members absent: Eichers <br />III. Minutes of July 13, 1994 <br />MOTION BY OLSON, SECONDED BY KINZIE, TO APPROVE THE <br />JULY 13, 1994 MII~TUTES AS SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED. <br />IV. Correspondence <br />A. Council Report <br />Williams commented that the chiropractor and dentist will be moving <br />out of the building across from City Hall. The New Brighton Care <br />Center will start their addition this fall. Anderson said the roof for the <br />Family Service Center went on and the metal roof for the play area is <br />being installed. The play area has plywood and insulation which helps <br />deaden noise; it is called accustideck. The Family Service Center <br />completion is still on target for the early part of November. <br />B. Multi City Senior Center <br />Olson received a letter informing her of a meeting on the August 24th. <br />The letter implied that all four cities would be there. A timeline around <br />November was given for a decision to be made. <br />C. Family Service Center <br />See Council Report. <br />V. New Business <br />A. Family Service Center Policies and Procedures <br />Anderson said he would like to have the Park Board look at this <br />document very carefully. About 15 to 17 people have been meeting <br />before the last 3 Park Board meetings to give input to these policies and <br />procedures. Some Park Board members participated. There will be <br />many sub documents created from this one. <br />Olson suggested going over the document section by section. <br />Mission Statement: <br />No comments. <br />
