She would not have bought the property if she knew of the 8 ft. trail. <br />Benke asked who had told Ms. Burleson that the pazk would not include a trail <br />system. Ms. Burleson said the developer did not suggest that a trail system would - <br />be installed, and the Pazk Department stated that no plans have been made regarding- <br />its development. ` Benke confirmed that the pazk's general layout had not changed in . - <br />four yeazs, and the only variations made were to the eastend. Anderson said the <br />Pazk staff informed callers that the City had not adopted a plan; however, the <br />developer had presented several vaziations to the Pazk Boazd: The Pazk Boazd had - -- _ - <br />extensively spoke in regazds to a trail system when the plat was approved, and the <br />westend was identified early on as a potential trail location, but surfacing was not <br />discussed. Benke added that the City deliberately waited until the adjacent homes' = <br />were constructed so that residents could have input in the park's development. _ ~ - <br />Williams asked how" would unauthorized v_ ehicles be prohibited -from trail use. .- :- -~--. -. ' <br />Anderson said Parke maintenance vehicles would access the- park; but unauthorized - . _ ' ~ '~ <br />`use has not been a problem in other parks. If unauthorized vehicle activity occurs, <br />a locking post could be installed to eliminate activity:.
