Council Meeting Minutes Page 8 January 25, 1994 Council Business_ continued - - council Business r' i Berke suggested the installation of the north/south/easf trail with a crushed rock Innsbruck Pazk base, heavy landscaping, and possible tennis court and playground area installation Development Plan within the first year. He added that the budget needs to be evaluated and feels the ~ ' Report 94-022 asphalt trail and westend extension should be delayed. Anderson said the 1994 budget does not allow for tennis court construction; but there would be funding for - the pond's rock material, anorth/south trail with crushed rock base and landscaping. Anderson feels the traffic patterns could be reviewed and a decision could be made later about the asphalt trail and the westend connection. Williams suggested that the trail paving could be coordinated with other paving projects. Bette Johnson feels that crushed limestone is not a good trail material because it becomes very messy during rains. She feels the trail material should be consistent throughout. Williams verified that the westend will retain the grass trail.
